Adaptxt developer KeyPoint Technologies is set to revolutionize the texts which are written on the mobile devices by reducing the keystrokes in a big way.
Though there are several features which are driving the demand for mobile computing, typing remains a common frustration among the users of mobility devices. To make the mobile computing a smooth proposition when it comes to typing, KeyPoint Technologies has made a name for itself by introducing a revolutionary software that satisfies the user’s propensity to type quickly, accurately and conveniently on the mobile communications devices.
Headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland, KeyPoint Technologies (KPT) has a strong presence in India, Japan and Europe. This software technology company has been operating since 2004 and developed next-generation text input solutions for mobile handsets and other consumer electronics devices.
Sumit Goswami serves as the Chief Executive Officer of KeyPoint Technologies and is responsible for giving direction and leadership in the future development and growth of the business in its international markets.
The mobile handset and consumer electronics sector is going through a rapid growth phase and KPT’s Adaptxt product range is capable of taking advantage of the opportunity from a B2B and B2C perspective. Relationships have already been established with most of the major mobile handset and consumer electronics manufacturers and platform providers across the USA, Europe and Asia. The company set up a research and development (R&D) centre in Hyderabad in 2009.
KeyPoint Technologies was founded by Sanjay Patel who, at first, came up with the idea of creating a keyboard for a physically challenged. This was the genesis of the company.
“Our language capability is unique. We are currently the worldwide leader in terms of language coverage,” says Sumit. “We have included some 18 Indian languages in our kitty.”
“Adaptxt” from KeyPoint Technologies is the next generation of text input application, providing text entry assistance on Android devices. Powered by a Predictive Text2.0 engine, Adaptxt provides accurate and relevant next word prediction, error-correction and word completion inputs by combining the best of artificial intelligence and computing technology. “We don’t rely on the statistics-driven prediction, we offer prediction capability through context-driven information combined with our linguistic knowledge.”
