R. Sridhar, Past President, AIT: "In Bangalore, we have a different problem altogether. We are in the enterprise segment and there is also a lot of undercutting. The margin in the enterprise segment is bare minimum today. We need to address this issue while talking to vendors.
There is no standardization in the industry. There must be some kind of certification. If someone takes up a work, he goes to a certified person. So, thereby some margins are maintained. But now all margins have been wiped out. We need to do the entire IT business from a different prism."
