V.R. Ferose, Managing Director, SAP Labs India, has been nominated as a Young Global Leader (YGL) 2012 by the World Economic Forum (WEF) for his professional accomplishments, commitment to society and potential to contribute to shaping the future of the world.
Ferose is among 192 young leaders from 59 countries selected by WEF from a pool of several thousand candidates. He has been chosen from amongst other young leaders below the age of 40 who represent the future of global leadership. Young Global Leaders are selected from a variety of sectors such as business, government, media, non-profit organizations, arts and culture and social entrepreneurship.

YGLs share learning experiences at the start of their five-year term, as part of an intense course in responsible leadership run by Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. As an YGL, Ferose will now embark on working with his peers towards mentoring next generation leaders and positively impacting global challenges by engaging YGLs in task forces and work streams related to specific challenges they have identified collectively.
