Another low cost handsets have been launched in India. As per a latest update, Videocon has launched two new smartphones in the Indian market. Dubbed as A20 and A30; both the smartphones run on Google Android operating platform and are dual-SIM handsets.

It is reportedly said that the new Videocon A20 is power-packed with Android 2.3, 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 3.5-inch HVGA display and 1350 mAh battery. For capturing merry moments of life, it has 3 megapixel rear and a front VGA camera. As far s memory is concerned, it could be expanded to 16GB. Also, Bluetooth, FM Radio with Recording and GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA connectivity are available.
Besides these intuitive features, company has also pre-loaded apps like Facebook, TOI, ET, History Eraser, Gesture Search, Google applications on the Videocon A20.Available across the country at all major retail stores, the smartphone is priced at INR 4999.
The other handset Videocon A30 comes with 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), 4.0-inch WVGA capacitive display and 1500 mAh battery. The memory is expandable up to 32GB. Priced at INR 7,299, the A30 also comes with numerous pre-loaded apps. On the imaging front, the smartphone packs 5 megapixel rear camera.
Market experts added, Videocon is not a new entrant in the Indian Android market, earlier in 2010, Videocon released two Android phones.
