Vishal Gupta quits BMC
Vishal Gupta, who has been the face of BMC Software for it’s Channel business in India and worked for close to 7 years, has quit BMC Software to pursue other opportunities.
Vishal has to his credit building the BMC software’s channel and distribution ecosystem in India from ground zero and is also transforming BMC’s channel business in India from a pure, fulfilment channel to a vibrant channel company capable of leading and closing deals independently.
With 17+ years of sales experience, his role has been to build and lead channel partner and GSI ecosystem sales for India & SAARC. Prospecting and closing large opportunities in Telco, BFSI, Govt. and Enterprise space through Channel and Alliance Partners, Vishal has been a veteran in Channel business and came to BMC after another long 5 years of successful stint at IBM India. He has since been part of most of the transformations that BMC has undergone.
Vishal had successfully led ISV alliances, channel sales at IBM India for hardware, software & services business and network security products and sales & distribution for Indian Subcontinent at Wipro ePeripherals.
