Why Apple Users are shifting for SAMSUNG
2019-08-03With the exposure of SIRI records all the voice conversations regularly hear recordings that contain highly sensitive information. The subjects involved in the recordings include sexual encounters, drug deals, and discussions between doctors and patients. The most credential of Apple’s software, security and Privacy is on the question marks.
People were going for Apple for the best users interface and the secured software inside the Mobile phone. There were millions of customers across the world felt helpless, after they came to know about the spying of SIRI.Siri has been an integral part of Apple’s operating systems for nearly a decade now, triggered billions of times, because billions of users, and each time triggered deliberately. Another fact is,Apple's phones are now coming with inferior quality that people are feeling like cheated ,on what they had spent on them .
When the news of APPLE came on Apple is paying contractors across the world to listen in on Siri recordings, be it intentional or accidental, in the name of quality control. Whereas, Apple does more to protect your privacy than most of their competitors. Loyal consumers of Apple have given up the faith. Now the question is, which phone now will go for, means one need to go for the replacement of the iPhone users to Android phones, then it is Samsung. The reason is many people now seem to care more about the software than the hardware.
Apple has $210.6 billion in cash and marketable securities on hand - a 6.5 percent dip in the company’s war chest from just three months ago. With having huge chunk of cash in hand, will apple able to buy the confidence of the users, it remain a big question mark?
After Apple’s intention has been caught by the whistleblower , Apple claims that less that 1 percent of daily Siri recordings are sent for such evaluations, and are picked at random. Now, Apple users are going over in increasing numbers to the Samsung Galaxy side.
On disaster recovery, a release says, Google and Apple have suspended programs where employees and contractors review recordings made from the companies' respective voice assistants chat Siri for now.
However, Apple issued a statement explaining, it had suspended the grading program worldwide while it conducts a review. Arguably, as Apple should have done in the first place, it will provide a software update that will then allows Siri users to opt in to the program. "We are committed to delivering a great Siri experience while protecting user privacy," Apple said. Now, the law makers has to take the call.
Few days back Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO said while giving the key note address, “We at Apple believe that privacy is a fundamental human right,” said in a privacy-conference keynote last year in Brussels. “But we also recognize that not everyone sees things as we do.” Cook was making an impassioned plea to end the technology industry’s collection and sale of user data. “This is surveillance,” he continued. “And these stockpiles of personal data serve only to enrich the companies that collect them.” Cook called for a comprehensive U.S. data-privacy law focused on minimizing data collection, securing that data, and informing users about its nature and use.
