If the reports emerging in media are to be believed Samsung could be the main supplier for the A9 processor that will power the upcoming Apple iPhone 6s phones.
The South Korean technology giant is said to be responsible for about 75 percent of the production of A9 chips for the 2015 model of the Apple iPhone. It is also expected to be used in the newest iPad Air and iPad mini that are believed to be announced later this year.
The report further says that Apple will be relying increasingly on Samsung not just for its chipsets but also other components that will be incorporated in future iPhone builds as well as the hotly anticipated Apple Watch. Before the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung was responsible for producing A-series chips for Apple which used to power the iPhone 5s.
