Xchanging has announced a joint venture (JV) with YTL Communications. Following a 2-year long association, this JV brings together Xchanging's systems integration expertise and YTL Communications' 4G network to offer a host of co-developed, cloud-based offerings to its customers.
As an alternative method to outsourcing business and IT functions, Xchanging helps in hosting internet services through 4G using cloud-based and mobile applications developed specifically for 4G networks. The 'XCloud' offerings also include a range of IaaS solutions like virtual servers, anti-virus, backup, storage, desktop virtualization and wifi gateways in addition to PaaS including location-based services and service provisioning.
