AKAI India launches ‘Power Goals for Power Homes’ campaign ahead of global soccer tournament
AKAI India has unveiled its upgraded 2026 product portfolio, led by the new PowerView TV range, alongside air conditioners and refrigerators designed to enhance home entertainment experiences during one of the world’s biggest sporting events.
AKAI India, operating under Home Tech Digital Limited, has announced its ‘Power Goals for Power Homes’ campaign, introducing a refreshed lineup of televisions, air conditioners, and refrigerators ahead of the upcoming global soccer tournament.
The campaign is centered around the company’s new 2026 PowerView television range, which aims to capitalize on growing demand for immersive home entertainment experiences during major sporting events. The company said the broader product ecosystem is designed to offer consumers a complete viewing environment by combining large-screen displays, climate control solutions, and home appliances.
According to AKAI, the latest television portfolio represents a significant upgrade to its India offerings, with a focus on enhanced picture quality, gaming performance, smart connectivity, and accessibility features.
New PowerView TV range targets premium viewing experience
The PowerView lineup is powered by Google TV running on Android 14 and incorporates QLED and QLED+ display technologies with 4K resolution. The televisions support HDR10 and HLG formats, while Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies are aimed at delivering a more immersive audio-visual experience.
The range also introduces AI-powered color optimization features, including a dedicated color correction mode intended to improve viewing experiences for users with color vision impairments.
AKAI has further equipped the televisions with gaming-oriented capabilities such as a 120Hz Game Mode and MEMC technology to enhance motion clarity and reduce latency during fast-moving content. Select premium models also feature hands-free voice controls, allowing users to operate key television functions without a remote.
The company said the PowerView series will be available in multiple screen sizes ranging from 32 inches to 100 inches, catering to a variety of room sizes and consumer budgets.
Expanded home appliance portfolio
Complementing the television lineup, AKAI has also highlighted its 2026 Nilgiree NXT inverter air conditioner range, designed for Indian weather conditions. The air conditioners are rated to function in temperatures up to 55 degrees Celsius and include features such as convertible cooling modes, copper condenser coils, self-cleaning technology, and air purification support.
The company has also expanded its refrigerator portfolio, which includes direct-cool single-door models and a new compact refrigerator range. AKAI said the products have been developed to address the needs of households during peak summer months, with features focused on cooling efficiency, voltage adaptability, and food preservation.
Commenting on the initiative, Anurag Sharma, MD & CEO, AKAI India, said: "The global soccer tournament is a once-in-a-generation moment for football fans in India. At AKAI, we want every Indian home to experience it the way it deserves, on a screen that does justice to the spectacle, in a room that’s cool and comfortable, with every refreshment within reach. Power Goals for Power Homes is our commitment that the best seat in the house is the one in your living room."
AKAI said the campaign will be supported by its nationwide after-sales network comprising more than 1,200 service centres across 28 states. The company is also offering financing and EMI options through multiple lending and payment partners to improve accessibility for consumers looking to upgrade their home entertainment and appliance ecosystems.
