Please tell something about your company?

InOpen designs and develops world-class educational content and solutions for academia. The solution is designed based on inputs and extensive validations from experts and academic institutions in the country and abroad. InOpen offers products and services to private schools, municipal schools and government schools. InOpen is among the few companies that work full time in sync with Free and Open Source (FOSS) technologies.

Please throw some light on your product offering?

Our product "Computer Masti" is a program that is not only designed to change the way children learn computer science at school, but it also focusses on the way teachers teach computer science at school. This is one of the distinct features of Computer Masti program. The content, apart from teaching the computer literacy skills, also teaches other concepts like stepwise thinking and logical reasoning. It is available in 8 Indian languages and 2 foreign languages. The e-book has already been downloaded in 120 countries across the world. 

Can you tell about your core competency?

InOpen Technologies was launched with the intention to provide quality educational content for schools. At InOpen, we lay emphasis on content development. We churn out some of the world's best content. Content is our strength. The implementation can be in the form of Textbooks, as CBT curriculum or an iPad app. There is an independent research study in MIT, USA which proves that the curriculum is one of the best available globally.  

With how many schools have you signed with till date? 

We have tie-ups with 52 schools till date. The list includes Spring School Rizvi Group Mumbai, SSRVM Art of Living Schools, Vidhyanidhi School, Mumbai, Nanda Deep School, Goregaon, Mumbai, to name a few. 

What is your future road map? 

The future plan is mostly towards adding more subjects in the armoury and building quality services around the same. We are looking forward to:

*  Launch Computer Masti 2.0 (A comprehensive Web-based learning experience which will use the power of CM tutorial logic, software's and assessment under one single platform.) Bring the same learning experience on the Web by combining learning, practice and assessment on the same page.

*  Computer Masti in all major Indian and foreign languages.

*  InOpen's Computer Masti Everywhere Initiative - Utilize Open Source Potential to gain online Community Support for making CM available in iPad, Kindle, Android Devices, etc.

*  We wish to open company-operated centers for Teacher and student learning activities. Generate E-Content for New Generation smartphones and tablets.

*  To establish benchmarks for School Teachers which should empower them with a holistic training, thereby creating an impact on the entire teacher intake process by schools.
