Tech Data has partnered with NetApp to launch an AI Test Drive Center in India aimed at helping channel partners and enterprises experiment with artificial intelligence deployments.
The facility, called the Tech Data India Experience Center | NetApp Enabled, will operate as an AI-focused Center of Excellence where partners and customers can build and test proof-of-concept AI applications before rolling them out in production environments.
The initiative comes as enterprises in India move from AI experimentation to real-world deployments that require scalable infrastructure and data management capabilities. By providing ready-built architecture and infrastructure, the center is designed to help organizations evaluate AI workloads without dealing with complex setup or operational challenges.
Tech Data will contribute its Destination AI framework to the project, which is designed to support partners through different stages of AI adoption—from awareness and solution development to deployment and post-sales support. NetApp will provide the underlying data infrastructure and storage technologies needed to manage and optimize AI workloads.
The companies said the collaboration will also include training and enablement programs to help partners build AI capabilities. Tech Data’s Digital Practice Builder platform will be used to equip partners with AI skills and tools needed to deliver AI-led solutions to customers.
Sundaresan K., Senior Vice President and Country General Manager at Tech Data Advanced Private Limited, said the initiative aims to help enterprises convert AI experimentation into measurable business outcomes.
Jordan Felts, Global Alliance Director for Distribution at NetApp, said the new center would help organizations simplify their AI adoption journey while leveraging Tech Data’s partner ecosystem in India.
The launch builds on the long-standing partnership between Tech Data’s parent company TD SYNNEX and NetApp, which spans more than two decades across over 100 countries.
