The smartphone brand will provide Nova2 Neo and Nova2 Pro devices to reviewers, creators and journalists before launch, allowing unrestricted evaluations and public feedback before opening sales to consumers.
Ai+ Smartphone has announced an unconventional launch strategy for its upcoming Nova2 Neo and Nova2 Pro smartphones, opting to place the devices in the hands of reviewers, content creators, journalists and technology enthusiasts before making them available for purchase.
The company said the initiative is aimed at prioritising transparency and consumer trust by allowing independent assessments of the devices before they reach the market. Unlike traditional smartphone launches that are often accompanied by embargoes, guided review programmes and tightly managed marketing campaigns, Ai+ plans to encourage open and unrestricted feedback from the technology community.
“At a time when product launches are often accompanied by carefully controlled narratives, Ai+ is taking a different approach: putting consumer interest ahead of launch-day marketing. We don't want validation. We want unbiased feedback for user benefits," said Madhav Sheth, CEO of Ai+ Smartphone and Founder of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies.
Open review window before sales begin
According to the company, reviewers will receive the Nova2 Neo and Nova2 Pro devices ahead of their commercial release and will be free to publish their opinions as soon as they receive them. There will be no review embargoes, content guidelines, scripted messaging or curated launch experiences.
Ai+ said the smartphones will not go on sale until reviewers have had seven days to test and evaluate the devices. The company is encouraging participants to examine all aspects of the products, including hardware performance, software experience, cameras, battery life, data transfer capabilities, reliability and overall usability.
The brand believes that gathering independent feedback before commercial availability will help consumers make more informed purchase decisions while also providing valuable insights for product refinement.
Focus on transparency and consumer trust
Sheth said the company views the initiative as an opportunity to learn from the technology community and address any shortcomings before customers spend money on the devices.
"As a young brand, we are still learning, still improving, and still earning consumer trust every day. If there is something we've missed, we'd rather hear it from reviewers before consumers spend their money. That's why Nova2 Neo and Nova2 Pro will not go on sale until this feedback window is complete." added Madhav Sheth.
Ai+ said both positive and critical reviews will be welcomed as part of its broader commitment to accountability and continuous improvement. Feedback generated during the review period will also be made accessible through the company’s website, allowing prospective buyers to view assessments in real time.
The Nova2 Neo and Nova2 Pro are the latest additions to the company’s Nova smartphone portfolio and are positioned below the Nova2 Ultra. Through the expanded lineup, Ai+ aims to bring its smartphone experience to a broader consumer base while reinforcing its focus on accessibility, transparency and trust.
