India’s leading audio brand boAt has entered Singapore as part of its Southeast Asia expansion, aiming to tap into a digitally advanced, youth-driven market with its range of TWS earbuds, headphones, and charging solutions through leading e-commerce platforms.
Popular homegrown audio brand boAt has officially entered Singapore, marking a key milestone in its Southeast Asia expansion strategy. The move follows its successful debut in Malaysia and reflects the company’s plan to strengthen its presence in high-growth digital markets across the region.
The brand is expanding in partnership with Opptra, a venture founded by Binny Bansal, to support international growth through a digital-first retail ecosystem. The collaboration will help boAt build its retail and e-commerce presence in Singapore using local market expertise and supply chain support.
Products, strategy and market focus
Singapore’s tech-savvy and premium lifestyle-oriented consumers present a strong opportunity for boAt to expand its global lifestyle technology positioning. The company aims to connect with young, digital-first users seeking high-performance audio products.
boAt will launch its curated product portfolio in Singapore, including True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds, headphones, and charging solutions. These products will be available on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop, ensuring easy access for local consumers.
The Singapore lineup is based on the brand’s ‘Create Waves’ philosophy, offering balanced sound, long battery life, and advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) at accessible price points.
Leadership view and global growth plans
Gaurav Nayyar, CEO of boAt, said, “Southeast Asia continues to be a key growth market in boAt’s international expansion journey, and Singapore marks an important milestone in strengthening our regional presence. With its young, digitally savvy consumer base, evolved retail ecosystem, and strong appetite for lifestyle technology products, Singapore aligns perfectly with our vision of building boAt into a global brand. Following the strong momentum in Malaysia, we are excited to deepen our footprint in the region. Together with Opptra as our trusted partner, we are confident of delivering a seamless, high-quality experience to consumers while scaling rapidly in the market.”
The company said its expansion into Singapore builds on growing presence across Southeast Asia, the GCC, and South Asia, with a long-term focus on digitally native markets worldwide.
