ESET has introduced its Cybersecurity Awareness Training program in India. This online platform is designed to educate, test, and improve the cyber resilience of employees, helping businesses protect themselves from costly breaches often caused by human error. The program also assists organisations in meeting compliance standards like GDPR, PCI DSS, and NIS2, as well as certain insurance requirements.
With 68% of data breaches involving human mistakes or social engineering, ESET aims to address a major security gap. In 2024, India faced cybercrime losses of ₹23,000 crore — a sharp rise from ₹7,500 crore in 2023. The company believes that informed employees are the first line of defence. The training uses interactive content, gamification, and real-world examples to make learning engaging and effective.
The program includes a phishing simulator that lets businesses run unlimited phishing tests using pre-designed templates or their own customised versions. This helps companies assess vulnerabilities and adjust training plans based on actual employee performance. ESET has made deployment simple by integrating with widely used business tools like LMS, SSO, CRM, and HR systems.

An easy-to-use dashboard allows administrators to track training progress, manage phishing simulations, and create custom learning groups for targeted training. By focusing on prevention, ESET’s training covers the majority of human-related cyber threats while keeping implementation and management straightforward. The company’s goal is to make cybersecurity an everyday practice for employees, reducing risks and strengthening overall organisational defence.
