InMobi has acquired MobileAction, strengthening its push into AI-powered app discovery and agentic advertising across Apple’s iOS ecosystem.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2013 and headquartered in San Francisco, MobileAction specializes in AI-driven app analytics, Apple Ads optimization, and App Store Optimization (ASO). The platform helps app developers and marketers improve visibility, user acquisition, and advertising performance on iOS.
The acquisition expands InMobi Advertising’s capabilities in helping brands attract new app users through both paid and organic growth strategies powered by AI. It also enhances InMobi’s broader advertising stack, which includes its agentic commerce platform, Glance.
MobileAction’s platform is used by major brands and app publishers including Google, Meta, DoorDash, Block, and Priceline. The company says its datasets span more than 90 million creatives, 6 million keywords, 5 million apps, 100,000 publishers, and 500,000 advertisers.
Rohit Dosi, Vice President and General Manager at InMobi, said the acquisition is aimed at combining scale with platform-native intelligence as advertising increasingly shifts toward AI-led optimization and automation.
MobileAction founder and CEO Aykut Karaalioglu said the deal would help accelerate product development and expand the company’s global reach in AI-driven advertising.
Following the acquisition, MobileAction will continue operating as a standalone platform, with teams across the United States, Europe, and Turkey joining the InMobi Group. InMobi said it plans additional investments in product innovation and global expansion, particularly across the US, APAC, and MENA markets.
The transaction reflects growing consolidation in the advertising technology sector, where companies are racing to build AI-powered platforms capable of automating user acquisition, campaign optimization, and consumer targeting in increasingly competitive digital ecosystems.
