Is AI as big as Internet?

A trillion-dollar question is getting discussed, about the product of platform. The internet is a platform, or infrastructure, that allows for the exchange of information and communication between computers. AI, on the other hand, is a product that can be created and deployed on the internet.

AI is as big as the internet is a matter of opinion, but there are certainly some similarities between the two technologies. Both AI and the internet have the potential to revolutionize the way we live and work. AI can be used to automate tasks, make decisions, and create new products and services. The internet has made it possible to connect people from all over the world and access information and entertainment at our fingertips.

However, there are also some key differences between AI and the internet. The internet is a physical network of computers, while AI is a software technology. The internet is a relatively mature technology, while AI is still in its early stages of development. Whereas, the tech industry experts are overhyping everything.

We have witnessed how AI is already being used to improve our lives, i.e.:

· AI-powered chatbots are being used to provide customer service, answer questions, and even make medical diagnoses.

· AI-powered self-driving cars are being developed to make transportation safer and more efficient.

· AI-powered medical imaging tools are being used to detect cancer and other diseases earlier.

· AI-powered robots are being used to perform dangerous or repetitive tasks in manufacturing and other industries.

The creation of OpenAI, and Microsoft’s support of it, was spurred in part by the threat of Google dominating AI. The architecture for OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Bing chatbot, known as transformers, was invented by Google. Although Google remains competitive in AI, Microsoft and OpenAI are seen as the early leader.

The fact is there is tremendous amount of competition in AI. Today, there are other global giants including AWS,IBM, Apple, Salesforce are making intelligent to their AI Products to grab the market share with various value addition through the partner eco-system.

Overall, it is too early to say whether AI will be as big as the internet. However, AI is a rapidly growing technology with the potential to have a major impact on our lives. It is possible that AI could eventually become as big as the internet, or even bigger.

AI is being used to make our lives better. As AI continues to develop, it is likely to have an even greater impact on our society.
