Meta: India Heavily Targeted by Pegasus Spyware

Meta's court filing has exposed India as the second-most targeted nation for Pegasus spyware, highlighting a significant breach of digital privacy. The filing, part of a lawsuit against NSO Group, reveals the exploitation of a WhatsApp vulnerability in 2019, enabling remote surveillance of approximately 100 Indian users. This revelation raises serious concerns about the scale and potential motives behind such invasive surveillance.
