Rising costs trigger price reset across select Ai+ smartphones

The price revision comes as smartphone makers face sustained increases in memory, manufacturing, logistics and other component costs, with Ai+ absorbing part of the pressure before adjusting prices across selected devices.

Ai+ Smartphone has announced a price increase of up to Rs 2,000 across selected smartphones in its portfolio, effective August 21, 2026. The company attributed the revision to continued increases in component and other input costs across the smartphone industry.

The latest adjustment comes amid a challenging cost environment for smartphone manufacturers, particularly due to higher memory costs. Manufacturing, logistics and other critical inputs have also become more expensive, putting pressure on device economics across different price segments.

According to the company, Ai+ had absorbed a significant portion of the additional costs in an effort to maintain accessible pricing for consumers. However, with cost pressures continuing, it has now implemented a measured revision across select models.

Revised prices across Pulse and Nova series

The price changes affect several models across Ai+'s Pulse and Nova smartphone ranges, although the extent of the increase varies by configuration. The Ai+ Pulse 2 4GB+64GB variant has moved from Rs 9,999 to Rs 10,999, while its 4GB+128GB version has increased from Rs 10,999 to Rs 11,499. The 6GB+128GB variant remains unchanged at Rs 11,999.

In the Nova lineup, the Ai+ Nova 2 5G 4GB+64GB now costs Rs 13,999, up from Rs 12,999, while the 4GB+128GB variant has risen from Rs 13,999 to Rs 14,999. The 6GB+128GB version has increased from Rs 14,999 to Rs 15,999.

The Ai+ Nova 2 Neo 5G 4GB+64GB is now priced at Rs 14,999, compared with Rs 13,999 earlier. Its 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB variants have risen to Rs 15,999 and Rs 16,999, respectively.

The Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G 6GB+128GB has increased from Rs 15,999 to Rs 17,999, while the 8GB+128GB variant has moved from Rs 17,999 to Rs 19,999.

At the top end, the Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra 5G 6GB+128GB now costs Rs 20,999, compared with Rs 18,999 previously. The 8GB+128GB model has increased from Rs 20,999 to Rs 22,999.

Ai+ said the revision is intended to maintain a balance between affordability, product experience and long-term business sustainability. The company will continue to monitor market and supply-chain conditions while maintaining its focus on delivering value to Indian consumers.
