Veeam India partners with Women in Cloud to build a Cyber-Resilient Bharat

Veeam Software together with Women in Cloud (WIC) has launched the ‘Saksham and Sakshar Bharat Initiative’ under the Bharat Cyber Suraksha Mission. This is a landmark 3-year national workforce development program to certify 1 million people in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud, and Cybersecurity, designed to unlock secure digital livelihoods and propel India’s leadership in the global AI powered economy.

Anchored by a series of Memorandum of Intent (MOI) with academic and industry leaders nationally, the program will be institutionalized as a cornerstone of India’s development agenda through collaborative partnerships. Veeam is leading the initiative with its proven global expertise in data protection and cyber resilience, introducing its 6Ps framework from Sankalp to Saksham, to advance the six pillars of a Cyber-Resilient Viksit Bharat: Purpose; Policy; Partnership; Platform; People; and Progress. Women in Cloud, as a strategic partner, will support this effort by amplifying reach, inclusion, and ecosystem activation. This collaborative effort is designed to build a cyber-resilient, digitally sovereign, and economically empowered Bharat, where every citizen, business, and institution can trust their digital ecosystem to be secure, inclusive, and future-ready.

100 Million Impressions Activation Plan: Launch of the “Main Hoon Saksham” Spotlight Campaign to celebrate cyber-ready citizens and generate nationwide momentum for digital upskilling. The campaign will leverage strategic media, community, and social activations to reach over 100 million impressions, raising widespread awareness on cyber resilience and secure digital livelihoods.

· Sakshar Bharat in Action: To enable 1 million+ industry accepted credentials and certifications in high-demand domains including data protection, ransomware recovery, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud protection, and DevSecOps equipping learners with job-ready, future-proof skills. This effort is powered by strategic partnerships with NSDC, AICTE, and other national skilling bodies, and is designed to ensure inclusive access for tribal communities, women-led ecosystems, and learners from India’s North-East region.
 

·  Institutional Capacity Building: Activate the deployment of DevSecOps Labs-In-A-Box across 100 universities in India, powered by Veeam technologies and certification pathways. These labs will deliver hands-on training in secure coding, data recovery, and cloud resilience embedding cybersecurity readiness into the academic core.

· Role Model Recognition & Go-to-Market (GTM) Collaborations: Drive visibility for ecosystem leaders through the Annual empowHERaccess Global Prestige Awards – India Edition, spotlighting trailblazers in cybersecurity and innovation. Integrated into partner-branded GTM initiatives like VEEAMON Tour, EmergeTech, Gracehopper India and others to further amplify reach, adoption, and impact across the nation.

· Wellness + Leadership Integration: Launch ‘Saksham Sehat LIVE: Breathe. Lead. Rise’, a national wellness and leadership development experience focused on mindfulness, vitality, and executive functioning, designed to cultivate resilient, high-performing leaders across all sectors.
