With an in-depth understanding of organizations, customers and global trends, this CIC is a testimony of 3M’s commitment to innovation for India.
The approach to this center builds on 3M’s global model of providing memorable experiences by showcasing 3M technologies and solutions to spark curiosity and advance dialogue. It also customizes the experience for each customer, exploring solutions that are directly tailored to the individual’s needs.
Kris Sridhar, Executive Director, R&D, 3M India comments, “3M’s CIC is a place where one can gain fascinating insights, and also experience how we inspire solutions by connecting people and technology. It is here where 3M’s unique culture comes to life. To launch our CIC in the city of Mumbai is a matter of immense pride for us.”
Design is a prominent feature of the CIC, bringing in a refreshing storytelling format that enables visitors to see how science powers 3M innovations. As an aesthetic addition, the CIC in Andheri has a feature wall in the main lobby, of the iconic Mumbai Sea Link, made from 3M reflective material.
Other features include several interactive touch-points facilitated through digital technologies to enhance visitor experience. Local application stories show 3M science in action in India, touching on several key trends. They show how 3M solutions can help address current and future challenges across sectors like transportation, manufacturing, construction, energy, healthcare, consumer and safety. 3M’s latest innovations and connecting technologies are brought to life through digital content, product and technology demos, environmental graphics and user experience.
