Garuda Aerospace partners with Australia’s Timed Automation Solutions on autonomous drones
The partnership will explore product distribution, joint drone technology development and pilot deployments across Australia and New Zealand, combining Garuda Aerospace’s manufacturing capabilities with TAS’s autonomous aerial platforms and enterprise software expertise.
IPO-bound drone technology company Garuda Aerospace Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australia-based Timed Automation Solutions (TAS) to explore collaboration in autonomous drone technologies and enterprise aerial operations.
The agreement establishes a framework for technical cooperation, knowledge sharing and the exploration of business opportunities in the growing autonomous drone market. The two companies will assess opportunities to combine their respective capabilities to develop solutions for industrial and enterprise applications.
Focus on joint development and distribution
Under the MoU, Garuda Aerospace and TAS will evaluate non-exclusive opportunities covering product distribution, joint development of drone technologies and participation in domestic and international projects.
Garuda Aerospace brings expertise in drone manufacturing and drone-based solutions, while TAS contributes capabilities in autonomous aerial operations and enterprise drone platforms. Its technology portfolio includes drone-in-a-box orchestration, fleet and site control, AI-assisted image review and enterprise integrations.
The collaboration is expected to support the development of autonomous drone applications across areas including agriculture, infrastructure inspection and remote operations.
Companies look to expand global drone ecosystem
Speaking on the collaboration, Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO, Garuda Aerospace Limited, said: “As autonomous technologies continue to redefine industries worldwide, building strong international relationships is essential to shaping the future of the drone ecosystem. Our association with Timed Automation Solutions reflects our commitment to expanding Garuda Aerospace’s global reach while developing solutions that address evolving industry requirements. We remain focused on driving technological excellence and delivering long-term value through strategic collaborations.”
“This collaboration with Garuda Aerospace reflects TAS’s vision to build a scalable, software driven UAV ecosystem in Australia. By combining Garuda’s manufacturing capabilities with our SkyStream platform, we aim to deliver flexible, cost effective, and scalable solutions for industries transitioning towards autonomous operations,” added Shakil Mansoor, Founder and Director, Timed Automation Solutions.
Pilot deployments planned in Australia and New Zealand
As part of the collaboration, the companies will explore pilot deployments across Australia and New Zealand. These deployments are expected to help assess real-world use cases, operational workflows and the applicability of autonomous drone technologies in different enterprise environments.
The agreement forms part of Garuda Aerospace's broader strategy to expand its presence through international partnerships and strengthen its capabilities in autonomous drone technologies. The company has been building relationships across the aerospace, defence and technology sectors as it seeks to create new opportunities in global markets.
Garuda Aerospace also secured export licence approvals in 2025, supporting its potential expansion into the Australian market and providing a foundation for further international business opportunities.
