Canada’s Merlin Blackmore just 19 years old has shared secrets about his Polygamist-cult family on the popular video-sharing app, Tik-Tok. He revealed that he grew up in a cult-like family with one father, with his 27 mothers, and 150 kids.
The head of this family is 64 years Winston Blackmore. The family is based in Bountiful, British Columbia, where he lives in an extensive polygamous family. Three of his children have come out in public to talk about their experiences of this wide and diversified single family.
Apart from Merlin, 19 years old Muray and 21 years old Warren have taken to social media platforms to share their story. The brothers used to hide their family secrets on account of feeling embarrassed but they have finally opened up.
The family was so big, the children went to their own school, while instead of living with their mothers, the teenagers all lived in a "motel house" together.
The youngest of the three, Merlin, doesn’t live with the family anymore and has shifted to the United States. “I've wanted to talk about this for years. Now I'm in a position I can, the world is going to know,” he said in a Tik-Tok.
The family celebrated each family member's birthday like any other but family reunions and thanksgiving parties were a huge affair, with the entire family piling into a huge hall.
