The new collaboration integrates Google’s Gemini, Veo, and Imagen models into Adobe’s creative tools, bringing advanced AI capabilities to millions of users worldwide
At the annual Adobe MAX 2025 conference, Adobe and Google Cloud announced an expanded strategic partnership aimed at redefining the future of AI-driven creativity. The collaboration will integrate Google’s advanced AI models — Gemini, Veo, and Imagen — directly into Adobe’s suite of creative applications, including Photoshop, Firefly, Adobe Express, and Premiere Pro.
AI innovation for every creator
Through this partnership, Adobe customers — from individual creators to large enterprises — will gain seamless access to Google’s cutting-edge AI tools. These models will enable users to generate richer visuals, higher-quality videos, and more refined designs within Adobe’s trusted ecosystem.
Enterprise clients will also benefit from Adobe GenStudio and the forthcoming Adobe Firefly Foundry, allowing them to customize and deploy brand-specific AI models. These tailored models will help companies produce on-brand content efficiently while maintaining strict data privacy and governance standards through Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform.
Expanding AI access and co-development
Adobe and Google Cloud have also agreed on a joint go-to-market strategy to expand access to these AI innovations globally. Both companies plan to co-develop solutions that combine Adobe’s creative expertise with Google’s AI infrastructure, accelerating content creation across industries.
“Our partnership with Google Cloud brings together Adobe’s creative DNA and Google’s AI models to empower creators and brands to push the boundaries of what’s possible,” said Shantanu Narayen, CEO of Adobe.
Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, added, “By integrating Google’s models into Adobe’s ecosystem, we’re giving creators and businesses the tools to dramatically speed up content creation and achieve creative concepts that were once impossible.”
Building a global AI creative ecosystem
This collaboration follows Adobe’s recently announced partnership with YouTube, which will bring Premiere Pro editing tools to YouTube Shorts through a new feature called Create for YouTube Shorts. Together, these initiatives underline Adobe’s mission to make AI-powered creativity accessible to all.
