Agilent aims to address India’s health challenges, such as chronic conditions and food safety, with localized solutions like GLP-1 analysis, PFAS detection, and emerging contaminant testing.
Agilent Technologies has officially launched the Agilent India Solution Center in Manesar, Haryana, marking a major milestone in its expansion within one of the world’s fastest-growing life sciences markets. This 12,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility underscores the company’s commitment to fostering scientific innovation and boosting research and development (R&D) capabilities tailored to India’s unique healthcare and environmental needs.
The new center is a key investment by Agilent to support localized scientific solutions in areas like chronic disease management, food safety, and environmental monitoring. With rising health concerns such as obesity and Type 2 diabetes and an increasing focus on regulatory compliance in food and environmental sectors, Agilent’s targeted offerings—such as GLP-1 analysis, PFAS detection, and emerging contaminant testing—are expected to provide timely and effective tools for scientists and policymakers.
The Agilent India launch comes with the introduction of specialized zones for chromatography, mass spectrometry, spectroscopy, genomics, and cell analysis, enabling comprehensive support for Indian scientists and laboratories. The center also serves as a training hub and a platform for proof-of-concept demonstrations, where professionals can explore cutting-edge Agilent analytical instruments and workflows in action.
Jonah Kirkwood, Chief Commercial Officer at Agilent, expressed excitement over the launch, emphasizing that the facility will empower Indian researchers through advanced tools and collaborations to tackle pressing scientific and health challenges.
The LEED Platinum-certified center reflects Agilent’s long-term vision of sustainability, innovation, and regional empowerment, reinforcing its leadership in the global life sciences and diagnostics space.
