The cohort is expected to cover areas such as, Chip Design and Fabrication, AI and IoT Integration, Sustainable Manufacturing, Comprehensive Support Ecosystem. India has been steadily increasing its focus on building a robust semiconductor industry. Government initiatives such as the Semicon India program and significant financial incentives for semiconductor manufacturing and design have created a conducive environment for innovation.
The efforts by AIC T-Hub align with this national vision, creating a platform for startups to emerge as key players in the global semiconductor supply chain. AIC T-Hub’s initiative to foster innovation in this space comes at a crucial time, with demand for semiconductors surging across industries. Over the next six months, these startups will be supported through a comprehensive programme structure. They will also have access to Multi-Project Wafer (MPW) Shuttle services for rapid prototyping, giving them a low-cost, fast-feedback loop to test and verify their semiconductor designs.
