Amazon has launched AI-Generated Review Highlights, leveraging generative AI to create concise summaries of customer reviews. This feature aims to help users quickly grasp key insights and opinions about products, enhancing the shopping experience by making it easier to understand customer feedback without reading through lengthy reviews.
"Rufus," a feature enabling natural language interactions within its app. Customers can now ask product-related questions, get recommendations, or compare products through either typing or speaking, making the shopping experience more intuitive.
This enhancement is supported by AI-powered tools like personalized recommendations and Alexa for streamlined shopping assistance, as stated by Saurabh Srivastava, Vice President of Categories at Amazon India.
Ahead of the start of its festive sale event, Amazon India has launched a new generative AI-powered conversational shopping assistant, Rufus. Rufus will enable natural language interactions within the Amazon app, making it easy to ask product-related questions, get recommendations, or compare products, the company said, whether typing or speaking, customers can now enjoy a more intuitive shopping experience. It has also introduced AI-Generated Review Highlights.
