Avnet has has appointed Sundaresan K as Country General Manager of Avnet Technology Solutions, India. In this role, Sundaresan will be responsible for developing and executing the business strategy in the country, with a focus on driving profitable growth and enhancing Avnet’s solutions specialist offerings for the local market. He is based in Mumbai and reports directly to William Chu, President, Avnet Technology Solutions, Asia- Pacific. Sundaresan succeeds Naresh Desai who now leads Avnet’s regional Cloud, Security and Enterprise Networking, and Mobility business units.
Sundaresan is an accomplished leader, having held management roles within high-growth organizations including executive vice-president, software and security at Redington India, and manager, finance and operations at Bhavani Impex, Kuala Lumpur.

Sundaresan is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, from the American College – affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India.
