Axis Communications has released AXIS M11 Network Camera Series. The new cameras are specially designed for easy and discreet day and night surveillance, comprising HDTV quality and the highly efficient H.264 video compression.

These new models provide adjustable IR LED illumination which is invisible to the human eye, and are ideal for discovering objects in a range of up to 15 meters (50ft.), even in complete darkness".
AXIS M1143-L and AXIS M1144-L Network Cameras offer multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG streams that can be individually optimized for bandwidth and storage efficiency. Other benefits include support for Edge storage with the built-in SD/SDHC memory card slot, pixel counter, corridor format, Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) and I/O port for PIR sensor possibilities.
