BITOAA Cricket Tournament concludes league stage, fostering IT channel camaraderie in Bhopal
The Bhoj Information Technology & Office Automation Dealer Association’s two-day cricket tournament brought together IT channel partners in Bhopal, combining competitive sport, professional networking, and community bonding ahead of the knockout matches scheduled next month.
The Bhoj Information Technology & Office Automation Dealer Association (Bitoaa), Bhopal, has successfully wrapped up the league stage of its inter-member cricket tournament, held on January 25 and 26, 2026, at the Faith Cricket Club & Resort in Ratibad. The event saw enthusiastic participation from members of the regional IT and office automation ecosystem, underscoring the association’s focus on engagement beyond business forums.
Six teams representing leading local enterprises competed in the tournament, with 12 league matches played across two days. The schedule featured both daytime and floodlit night matches, drawing strong attendance from association members, families, and invited guests. The high-energy contests and close finishes added to the excitement, creating a lively sporting atmosphere throughout the weekend.

Competitive matches and team participation
The participating teams included Agnigate XI, Bytegear Hawks, DDH Newtrics XI, RI Spartans, Shri Sai Kings XI, and Winners XI, each backed by prominent business leaders from the region’s IT channel community. The league encounters were evenly contested, with teams displaying strong teamwork and resilience.
Matches on the opening day set a competitive tone, while the second day saw sustained momentum, particularly during the night fixtures. By the end of the league stage, all six teams had recorded two wins each, making net run rate the deciding factor for semi-final qualification.
Based on standings, Shri Sai Kings XI, DDH Newtrics XI, Winners XI, and Agnigate XI secured places in the semi-finals.
Community spirit and next stage
The tournament commenced with the National Anthem and included moments of remembrance, paying tribute to late Bitoaa members and family members, reflecting the association’s sense of solidarity. Republic Day celebrations on January 26, including flag hoisting, added a patriotic note to the proceedings.
Bitoaa officials highlighted that the initiative aimed to promote wellness, camaraderie, and stronger professional bonds within the industry. The semi-final and final matches are scheduled for February 1, 2026, at the same venue, with prize money of ₹51,000 for the winner and ₹31,000 for the runner-up.
