Blinkit’s new electronics delivery service responds to growing demand for instant access to tech, following the success of its Bistro app for quick snacks and meals
In a strategic move to strengthen its foothold in the rapidly growing instant delivery market, Zomato-owned Blinkit has expanded its 10-minute delivery service to include a wide range of electronics. Announced by CEO Albinder Dhindsa on social media, the new offering allows customers to receive electronics such as laptops, monitors, and printers within just 10 minutes.
The service will initially be available to residents in major metro cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Lucknow. According to Dhindsa’s post on X (formerly Twitter), Blinkit has partnered with leading electronics brands to offer products like laptops from HP, monitors from Lenovo, Zebronics, and MSI, and printers from Canon and HP.
“Our large order fleet will ensure fast delivery, and we’ll soon add more brands and products,” Dhindsa added, highlighting Blinkit’s focus on providing same-day electronics delivery for its customers. This expansion marks Blinkit’s ongoing effort to cater to the growing demand for quick, hassle-free delivery services.
Companies ramp up instant delivery efforts
In a related move, Zomato, Blinkit's parent company, also launched a 15-minute delivery feature on its app to offer food delivery options, strengthening its presence in the same-day delivery sector. These developments come as part of both companies’ broader push into the instant delivery space, responding to the rising competition from rivals like Swiggy and startups such as Zepto and Dunzo.

The launch of Blinkit's electronics delivery service is particularly significant given the growing demand for instant access to everyday essentials, especially electronics, amid evolving consumer preferences. The recent push into electronics delivery follows Blinkit’s successful rollout of its Bistro app, aimed at delivering snacks, meals, and beverages in just 10 minutes.
With the launch of these services, Blinkit is further cementing its place in the competitive instant delivery landscape, making technology and essential items accessible to customers within a matter of minutes. As Blinkit continues to expand its 10-minute delivery offerings, it aims to dominate both food and now electronics delivery markets in metro and Tier-2 cities across India.See What’s Next in Tech With the Fast Forward Newsletter
