Timed with India’s cricket season, the new soundbar introduces a cable-free surround sound experience with Dolby Atmos, high-power output, and flexible speaker design, targeting consumers seeking immersive home entertainment without complex setups.
boAt has expanded its home audio portfolio with the launch of the Aavante Prime X, marking its entry into the truly wireless soundbar segment. The product has been introduced during India’s ongoing T20 cricket season, aligning with heightened consumer demand for immersive at-home viewing experiences.
The launch is supported by a campaign featuring cricket personalities Virat Kohli, Krunal Pandya, and Phil Salt, all associated with Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The campaign highlights the transition from traditional, cluttered home entertainment setups to a more seamless and stadium-like audio experience.
Focus on wireless immersive audio
The Aavante Prime X is designed to address the growing need for high-performance yet simple home audio solutions. It features a 7.1.4 channel configuration with Dolby Atmos support, delivering multi-dimensional sound through up-firing drivers and a wireless subwoofer. With a total output of 700W, the system aims to provide powerful, room-filling audio suited for sports, movies, and gaming.
A key differentiator is its truly wireless rear satellite speakers, which eliminate the need for cables while offering flexibility in placement. These detachable units can deliver up to 12 hours of playback when used with Dolby Atmos via HDMI, and up to 7 hours for non-Dolby content, catering to varied usage scenarios.
Designed for modern living spaces
The soundbar supports multiple connectivity options, including Bluetooth v5.3, HDMI (e-ARC), and optical input, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices. Its minimalist design is intended to blend into contemporary home interiors, while the wireless setup reduces clutter typically associated with home theatre systems.
Speaking on the launch, Gaurav Nayyar, CEO, boAt, said, “With the launch of the Aavante Prime X, we’re taking a decisive leap in redefining home entertainment for Indian consumers. This isn’t just a soundbar - it’s a complete cinematic experience, powered by a 7.1.4 channel Dolby Atmos setup, 700W output and Bluetooth v5.3 that deliver truly wireless and immersive sound at home.
