Dell(NASDAQ:DELL) has conducted an India CIO Enterprise Tablet Survey for 2013, revealing that IT departments are willing to adapt fresher approaches to meet their technology requirements. The survey was done with enterprise IT leaders, ranging from CIOs, CTOs to IT Directors to check the need of mobile devices and their impact on the corporate environment, among enterprise IT decision-makers.
The responses from more than 300 organizations reveal BYOD incorporation is the need of the hour and will prioritize the mobile investments in 2013.
The 10-inch Latitude 10 tablet from Dell is expected to provide end users and IT departments security and manageability. It offers rich multimedia features, accessory compatibility, and full compatibility with the current Windows applications that takes advantage of the latest advances in touch-enabled applications and allows businesses to confidently bring tablets into their enterprises. Latitude 10 fits easily into the current enterprise IT environments by supporting existing productivity applications and plugs into existing management consoles.

Some of the key findings from the survey disclose that the usage of web-based apps will gain importance for all types of workers in 2013. Regarding implementation of BYOD, 80% of organizations will go for it in the next one year, whereas 50% are considering a BYOD implementation within six months.
