Cisco ropes in former Thomson Reuters CIO
Cisco has appointed Jacqueline Guichelaar as its group Chief Information Officer. Previously, Guichelaar was in Thomson Reuters, where she was heading IT operations as its Group CIO.
Guichelaar will be responsible for the entire technology infrastructure and application development globally at Cisco. She has posted, sharing that she is passionate about driving Cisco’s digital strategy in close partnership with its business and OneOps team. She said that she is proud to be leading “one of the best IT teams on the planet”.
With 28 years of experience in the technology space, she has had a front-row view at the developments in enterprise IT, especially the BFSI sector. And as a technology leader, she has had the opportunity to adopt and deploy emerging technologies. She was also the Chair of the 2012 Women on Wall Street Conference.
Guichelaar has been spearheading IT across top global enterprises for a remarkable 25 years and 6 months. Prior to her stint at Thomson Reuters, she had worked as CTO and director of technology at Lloyds Bank, Deutsche Bank, National Australia Bank, IBM and DXC Technology.
