British comedy actor and 'The Goodies' actor Tim Brooke passes away at 79, amid coronavirus. The actor breathed his last on Sunday due to health complications related to coronavirus, as per the reports.
He is survived by his wife and two sons. The 79-year-old actor was one of the very first artists from the UK to use the stop-motion techniques in the live-action format. The Goodies actor had also appeared in several television shows and comedy shows.
After his death news was out, many comedy actors paid tribute to Brooke.
“He was a funny, sociable, generous man who was a delight to work with. Audiences found him not only hilarious but also adorable. His loss at this dreadful time is particularly hard to bear, and my thoughts are with Christine, Ben, Edward and their families,” wrote his fellow Goodie Graeme Garden
Bill Oddie, the third Goodie, tweeted: “Fifty years and he only got cross with me once ... well maybe twice ... no quite a lot actually! No one could wear silly costumes or do dangerous stunts like Tim. I know it hurt cos he used to cry a lot. Sorry Timbo. A true visual comic and a great friend.
