Adobe has announced Adobe Creative Suite 6 Student and Teacher Edition for institutions, educators and students in India. The release comprises 14 new CS6 point products and four Creative Suite editions and is a significant release for the Indian education sector.
Umang Bedi, Managing Director - South Asia, Adobe Systems said, “Research conducted by Adobe in March this year showed that over 81% of educators in APAC believe it is very important to incorporate creativity tools in the curriculum to help students prepare for a 21st century workplace. This indicates a fundamental shift in thinking, away from the rote learning style of former years to embrace the realities of a new digital era and the needs of a global, collaboration-oriented, knowledge-centric workforce.”
