Dell announces New Solutions from branch office to scale out Data Center

To address the emerging challenges faced by customers, related to the complexity, inefficiency and rigidity in the current IT infrastructure, Dell has announced to offer a wide range of enterprise-class converged infrastructure portfolio for branch offices to SME market at the Dell Enterprise Forum Customer and Partner event.

A Private Cloud in a Box and the converged IT solution, PowerEdge VRTX is  designed specifically for remote and small-office environments, with enterprise-class capabilities in a desk-side, space-saving design. 

Based on Dell’s pioneering work with the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), the company will offer HPC Life Sciences solution to reduce genomics analysis time from one week to one day for personalized medicine clinical trial for pediatric cancer.  

Dell Active Infrastructure solution will help organizations to accelerate the delivery of business applications and IT services, improve data center efficiency and strengthen IT service quality. The next-generation Dell Modular Data Center (MDC) will help customers operating scale out data centers to quickly and cost-effectively deploy resources, compared to raised-floor data centers.

These infrastructure solutions will be available in late June 2013.
