eMerchant Digital Academy bags Mother Teresa Award
For contribution towards the penetration of e-commerce medium in the MSME segment, Digital academy eMerchant Digital Solutions has been conferred with the Mother Teresa Award at a seminar “India Development – Current Scenario”.
This award was initiated by Integrated Council for Socio Economic Progress. eMerchant Digital Academy Managing Director Shakir Ali received this award on behalf of the organization.
Prof. A. R. Chauhan, Chancellor of Indus International University, Una, Himachal Pradesh, said, India has about 600 universities, 160 private universities, 450 Public Sector and Central Universities and 20-plus premium colleges such as IITs and IIMs. But our quality of education is not as advanced as other nations. Communication and presentation skills of 80 per cent of students of rural background are poor and pathetic. Even multitasking abilities of the students are questionable. Mere bookish knowledge is not so much worth. Now focus should be on skill development education. Need to reorient our education system.
The eMerchant Digital Academy imparts training to working and non-professionals in the digital marketing segment. The Academy gained this honour also for its involvement for conducting value-based free seminars on digital education in Andhra Pradesh.
