Breaking News

Both Android and iPhones support free alerts from government and authorized agencies, warning users of serious threats like natural disasters, terrorist attacks, or national security emergencies.
In today’s unpredictable geopolitical climate—especially amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan—emergency notifications can be the difference between safety and risk. Whether it’s a natural disaster, a terrorist attack, or a national security emergency, receiving real-time updates from government agencies on your mobile device can help you make timely, life-saving decisions.
Both Android emergency alerts and iPhone emergency alerts are designed to deliver these critical messages for free, directly to your phone using a dedicated broadcast channel. This ensures delivery even during network congestion, when traditional SMS or internet-based messages might be delayed or blocked.
To take full advantage of these safety features, users must ensure that alerts are enabled on their devices. Unfortunately, many people remain unaware that these settings can be accidentally turned off—leaving them vulnerable to missing crucial warnings.
