ESET recommends "Think Before You Click"

ESET has reported that when people find a link while browsing the internet (blogs, websites etc), they tend to click on it to see where it goes and this happens even if the context suggests that the link may be malicious.
 
To secure companies from malicious websites, ESET recommend users that even if the system software has been loaded with antiviruses, they need to be cautious before clicking on any link. No security software is foolproof and antiviruses cannot protect you against zero-day breaches. ESET also warns users not to trust any unsolicited files or embedded links.

It also recommends not to throw the old feature phones as most old phones use J2ME. To confirm where the link is coming from,  it is good to use a browser on an old phone. This way, PC or smartphone is safe from malware.
