With an aim to stimulate growth in the IT industry and improve the business landscape, the Federation of Information Technology Associations of Gujarat (FITAG) successfully held its much-anticipated event, Samarthya: The Presidents Conclave 2024, on October 14, 2024 at Madhubhan Resort & Spa, Vallabh Vidyanagar in Gujarat.
The one-day event, with a central theme of “Creating a Future-Ready FITAG”, witnessed a congregation of IT leaders from across the state, in accordance with the federation’s motto, “Happy Together,” encouraging a spirit of unity and collaboration. The gathering was also graced by association presidents, team members, and the FITAG executive committee.
Samarthya: The Presidents Conclave 2024 served as a landmark event with thought-provoking discussions, valuable takeaways, and networking opportunities for participants.
The conclave focused on fostering resilience and mapping out a progressive path for Gujarat's IT industry. Moderated by Mr. Nandak Pandya, FITAG Corporate Mentor, the discussion panel included former presidents who provided valuable insights and strategies for positioning Gujarat’s IT industry to face future challenges and leverage new opportunities.
The notable speakers on the panel were Mr. Kaushik Pandya (Founder President 2009-10), Mr. Yogesh Thhaker (President 2011-12), Mr. Amit Shah (President 2015), Mr. Mitesh Dave (President 2016-18), Mr. Praful Desai (President 2018-20), and Mr. Pranav Parikh (Immediate Past President).
The discussions centered on innovation, collaborations, and strategies to advance the IT industry. Through collaborative efforts and strategic planning, FITAG continues to solidify its leadership in driving IT growth throughout the state.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Alok Ghelani, President of FITAG, said, “Samarthya: The Presidents Conclave” has been a prestigious event since 2016, and today marks its 8th edition. He said, with participation from 45 associations across Gujarat and Ahmedabad, and key leaders from 20+ top brands, this event serves as a vital platform for IT leaders to share knowledge, drive innovation, and collaborate on shaping a unified vision for Gujarat’s IT industry. Mr. Ghelani also discussed the federation's efforts to tackle challenges and capitalize on new growth opportunities.
The conclave served as a venue for networking, allowing stakeholders to discuss their aspirations for the future of Gujarat’s IT sector.
