To complement the growth Fold, a Crypto startup based out of Atlanta has come out with the launch of a co-branded Visa card after getting picked to join the payment giant's Fintech Fast Track programme, where a new Visa debit card by Fold is set to enter the cryptocurrency industry to allow users to earn Bitcoin cash-back rewards.
Since Visa is supported by more than 46 million merchants around the world, the move makes shopping with cryptocurrencies easier than ever before.
With this initiatives now the users can spend from their bitcoin rewards by purchasing fiat-denominated gift cards for retailers on the Fold app, or allow the value to accumulate like they would in a savings account. It has been noticed that plenty of people are interested in participating in the growing bitcoin economy but aren't sure how to get started.
Secondly, the users earn bitcoin when they spend. Rather than airline miles or loyalty points, shoppers will earn bitcoin back on purchases made with the card and users also can spend from their bitcoin rewards by purchasing fiat-denominated gift cards for retailers on the Fold app, or allow the value to accumulate like they would in a savings account.
