Alterego Technology Limited has appointed Mr. Dharmesh Rathod, former Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Tata Electronics and Adani Group, as Group Chief Information Security Officer (Group CISO) and Member of the Board of Directors.
His appointment reflects Alterego Technology’s strategic focus on strengthening cybersecurity governance and enterprise resilience at the board level, as the company expands its consulting and managed security services portfolio across enterprise and industrial environments.
With over 29 years of global IT and cybersecurity leadership experience, Mr. Rathod has led enterprise security programs across industries including semiconductor manufacturing, energy, logistics, ports, mining, and financial services. His expertise spans SCADA, industrial control systems (ICS), and critical infrastructure environments, with a strong focus on governance-led cyber resilience.
Prior to joining Alterego Technology, Mr. Rathod served as CISO at Tata Electronics, where he helped establish cybersecurity governance frameworks supporting India’s emerging semiconductor fabrication ecosystem. He has also held Group CISO roles at Adani Group, Essar Group, and Welspun Group, leading enterprise-scale cybersecurity programs across large global conglomerates.
As Group CISO and Member of the Board, Mr. Rathod will provide strategic oversight of Alterego Technology’s cybersecurity posture and governance frameworks while bringing a CISO-led security perspective to the company’s 24×7 SOC-as-a-Service and NOC-as-a-Service platforms.
