GIGABYTE opens New India Service Centres
2015-03-02GIGABYTE has announced its 2015 plan to embark on a multi-faceted strategy that is expected to further help strengthen its ties with, and commitment towards, its channel partners operating in the PC DIY market.
The plan involves setting up an exclusive, post-sales service network across India. In addition to its recently established state-of-the-art service centres in the heart of IT markets in both Mumbai and New Delhi, new centres will be opened in additional major cities, including Kolkata and Chennai. These will be in addition to the existing ones in Kochi and Ahmedabad. The centres will operate as service hubs for their respective zones.
“Today, we are clearly seeing a vibrant emerging DIY market in India, especially in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities where the number of knowledgeable, tech-savvy users continues to grow at a rapid pace. In order to deliver the best possible products and services to cater to this new group of customers, GIGABYTE is providing its partners with the support and tools necessary to meet the needs of this growing user segment, and with it, the ability of our partners to continue to grow their businesses,” commented Sunil Grewal, Director – Sales & MarCom, GIGABYTE Technology (India) Pvt. Ltd.
The centres will be equipped with the latest in-repair machines and software systems to facilitate elaborate testing and troubleshooting. They are manned by experienced, skilled engineers who are not only capable of providing motherboard repairs even up to Level 4, but also of delivering proactive onsite support, including training to customers on optimized PC usage.
With a special focus on resellers based in Class B, C and D cities, GIGABYTE is committed to provide every kind of support needed by hosting a series of channel partner meets, providing access to its online GIGABYTE Value Partner Programme (GVPP), and increasing its investment in shop branding at channel partner retail outlets, especially of those based in Class B and C cities. This is in addition to outdoor branding being carried in the vicinity of IT markets, billboards, metro railway stations and bus shelters, among others.
