With this Infosys to launch its first GitHub Center of Excellence. The collaboration is aimed at speeding up the process of software production partnering with Global System Integrators. By enabling their developers with GitHub Copilot organization-wide, and extending the capabilities to their customers, GSI's can generate a globalized step change in the speed of software production.
The CoE will focus on advancing research and development in software engineering and open-source technologies. It aims to create an environment that encourages innovation, experimentation, and the development of cutting-edge solutions.
The collaboration aims to promote contributions to open-source projects, fostering a culture of sharing and collaboration. The CoE will support developers in contributing to and managing open-source projects, encouraging widespread adoption of best practices.
