Please talk about your accomplishments in the industry that would sustain your interests in the long haul?

Incorporated in 1994, Zicom is a pioneer and leader in the field of Electronic Security in India. Zicom having pioneered the category of electronic security has now become synonymous with the category. We have worked hard for the past two decades to foster safety and security as a culture in our country. We have spent millions of dollars creating awareness in our country through various initiatives. Hence, we are here for the long haul; now the green apple has become ripe and red. We see a great future for us.Therefore we shall remain grounded in this business to create all round value for all our stake holders.Our clientele is a proof of our unparalleled operation excellence. From quality products to professional after sales services, Zicom has driven the markets with customer centric focus.

Can you reveal some of your success stories from the past?

There are many, but the high points are our Big Boss CCTV coverage, our huge success of creating a new service category called SaaS- Security as a Service, our foray into placing our products into over 2000 retail outlets, our spread to over 400 cities, our state of the art command centre, our brand leadership in this category, to mention a few.

What are the major bottlenecks in the Industry when you design the business eco system?

Consumer mind set is the biggest bottleneck, followed by price sensitiveness. Both of these are always the biggest challenges we face and we are constantly finding new ways to deal with it.

Where do you see yourself three years from now?

 In less than two decades Zicom has established itself as a leader in the security domain, introducing distinct innovations that the rest of the industry has followed.

 In the next three years, we see ourselves evolving as the biggest IT based Electronic security services provider, covering 800 cities with 80% or more of our revenues coming from providing services.

Besides IT, what are your other areas of interests? 

We are focused on security – in fact we eat, sleep and dream Security. We have no other interests other than providing Security.
