HCLTech, a global technology company, has announced a Global Premier Partnership with Anthropic aimed at accelerating enterprise adoption of agentic AI, with a focus on safety, cybersecurity and governance.
Under the arrangement, HCLTech’s services teams will develop industry solutions and offerings powered by Claude, Cowork and Claude Code. HCLSoftware, as an Anthropic independent software vendor (ISV) partner, will embed these capabilities into select enterprise products.
HCLTech will set up an Anthropic Business Unit with a Center of Excellence (CoE) to build agentic AI solutions and provide secure sandbox environments for enterprise deployments of Claude through forward deployed engineers (FDEs). The company will also help clients adopt AI-native engineering practices, train their workforces and develop the organisational capabilities needed to operate agentic AI safely at scale.
Claude in HCLSoftware and AI Force
As an ISV, HCLSoftware will integrate Claude capabilities and gain access to advanced models for select products across cybersecurity, automation, and business process and application development. These include HCL BigFix and HCL AppScan, and the move will also enable the Actian AI analyst.
HCLTech will additionally integrate Claude and Claude Code into AI Force, its agentic software engineering platform, across IT support, code remediation and digital employee services. These workflows will be backed by policy guardrails, exception handling and human oversight for high-impact changes.
