Hewlett Packard Enterprise has unveiled its new HPE Aruba networking enterprise private 5G technology aimed at making private 5G networks as easy to deploy and manage as current Wi-Fi networks.
This move positions HPE at the forefront of providing customized, secure, and high-performance networking solutions tailored for enterprise environments
HPE acquired private cellular provider Athonet in 2023 whose technology was proven in the market for 15 years with 500 customers. The Athonet technology will also continue to be available as a standalone offering for both 4G and 5G.
Private 5G networks provide heightened security compared to public 5G networks, ensuring that sensitive enterprise data is protected and isolated from external threats.
The technology promises high-speed data transmission and low latency, which are critical for real-time applications and services such as industrial automation, IoT, and edge computing.
HPE’s 5G solutions are scalable, allowing enterprises to expand their network capacity as their connectivity needs grow. They also offer the flexibility to adapt to various use cases and industries.
