iValue InfoSolutions, India's fastest growing technology aggregator, initiated afforestation drive – “Go Green” as part of their CSR activity at Bengaluru’s Kommasandra village on Monday, 22nd Feb 2021 in partnership with Rotary Club of Bengaluru HSR and Biota Farm. As part of the initiative, iValue InfoSolutions has planned to create a 4 acre mini forest by planting 4,000-4,500 saplings. The creation of the mini forest will be undertaken in a phased manner through Miyawaki and other traditional afforestation methods that aim at the restoration of natural vegetation and self-sustaining ecosystems on degraded land within a short span of time. iCare club members from Bengaluru along with other employees and the leadership team took part in the inaugural function along with Rotary club members and local dignitaries.
In the month of December, iValue InfoSolutions under “Jnana Deevige” (a Public TV initiative) in association with Rotary Club of Bengaluru HSR sponsored 150 tabs loaded with content and study materials as per Karnataka State Education Board’s curriculum for 300 class 10 students. The distribution event was held in KPS Agara Government School, HSR Layout. This initiative was to extend support to students of class 10 studying in government schools to continue their education without interruptions during pandemic times. Bangalore South MP Mr Tejasvi Surya, Bommanahalli MLA Mr M Satish Reddy and Rotary District Governor- Rtn. Nagendra Prasad honoured the event with their presence.
Speaking about both the activities, Director and CEO of iValue InfoSolutions, KrishnaRaj Sharma said, “Protecting greenery should be everyone’s prime responsibility as disruption of environment and natural habitats is resulting in natural disasters and rampant man-animal encounters. Restoration efforts will also help to protect traditional medicinal plants for the overall health and well-being of the society. iValue has not just taken up environment issues as part of its CSR activity, it has also supported various other causes. Jnana Deevige is one such example where iValue to help students of class 10 studying in government schools sponsored 150 tabs loaded with the curriculum as the pandemic has crippled the flow of the academic year. iValue is driving the CSR initiatives not only to better the society but also to engage the employees and instil the culture of social responsibility in them.”
iValue has always stressed on giving back to the society in various ways and means and they have identified well defined focus areas for CSR initiatives in which environmental protection is a major agenda. They have also been striving for the betterment of the under privileged strata of the society by taking up various social causes like education for children, women empowerment and education for girl child, skill development for youth who come from economically backward and rural communities, and specially abled youth for better employability etc.
