Kaspersky conducts Technical Training Programmes for Partners

Kaspersky Lab has conducted 9 training programmes for its retail partners, out of which 8 were technical trainings and the remaining one was a sales training. The format was a two-day training course with hands-on lab exercises.

The training programmes took place in four different cities: Mumbai, Nasik, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Kicked off along with the launch of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business (KESB), the trainings are part of the ongoing partner enablement undertaken by Kaspersky Lab for its B2B partners. Till now, more than 77 engineers got trained in the programme that was participated by over 49 partner organizations from across South Asia.

"In order to sustain our growth momentum, partner enablement is one of our key imperatives in FY 2013. We have embarked aggressively on the B2B training front, and we believe partners will derive value from our programme as the unified nature of our new KESB solution ensures training costs are reduced," said Altaf Halde, Managing Director, Kaspersky Lab - South Asia.

The key content of the training programme was focussed on technical overview of KESB, hands-on walk-through on features, configurations, Migration (KSC9 to KSC10, EP8 to EP10), Encryption, Systems Management, Introduction to KESB (messaging), Licensing of KESB v/s KOSS, New Components in KESB, Targeted Solutions and KSV product.
