Microsoft has unveiled two cutting-edge AI sales agents – Sales Agent and Sales Chat – as part of its CoPilot 365 suite. These tools, set for public preview in May, are designed to enhance sales efficiency, streamline workflows, and break down silos between legacy systems. By integrating advanced AI capabilities, Microsoft is empowering businesses to leverage AI in sales for more seamless and effective sales processes.
The Sales Agent is a fully autonomous AI tool that can manage a variety of sales tasks. It is designed to convert contacts into qualified leads, schedule meetings, and interact with customers, all while drawing from an organization’s CRM, emails, meeting notes, and pricing data. This integration of Sales automation allows sales teams to offload routine tasks and focus on closing high-value deals, making it an indispensable tool for modern sales organizations.
On the other hand, Sales Chat accelerates the sales cycle by providing sales reps with critical insights from various data sources, including CRM records, emails, pitch decks, and meeting notes. By simply entering a natural language prompt – such as “Give me a list of deals at risk of falling through” – Sales Chat delivers actionable insights, enabling sales professionals to act quickly and efficiently. With its advanced Salesforce AI integration, it ensures that reps have real-time access to the most relevant data, cutting down the time spent on manual searches.
Seamless integration and customization
Both Sales Agent and Sales Chat are integrated into Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, and they work seamlessly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce AI, ensuring that sales reps can manage and close deals without toggling between multiple systems. These tools are also customizable, allowing businesses to tailor them to specific needs and connect them to all their business data for personalized engagement.
In addition to these powerful agents, Microsoft introduced the AI Accelerator for Sales, a program that helps organizations transition from legacy CRM systems to AI tools for sales. The initiative includes access to AI experts to assist with seller adoption, migration, and fine-tuning agents to meet the unique demands of each business, empowering teams to fully capitalize on the benefits of Microsoft AI products in driving sales success.
